Jaclyn Davis, Ph.D.
I am a licensed psychologist and received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Biola University. I work from a relational psychodynamic perspective, and I believe that the relational component of therapy is one of the most powerful means of change. I see my role as a therapist in aiding clients in discovering their true selves by helping them see how their past and current relational experiences, including their relationship with the therapist, impact them. I enjoy working with couples, individuals, and adolescents in my therapy work. I have conducted research on embryo adoption and the marital satisfaction of evangelical Christian women. I am particularly interested in working with couples that have struggled with infertility and with those who are interested in further exploring how they could improve their marriage, including exploring how they communicate and deal with conflict. I also work with individuals with a broad range of concerns and if clients desire, can discuss how their spirituality impacts their lives.
